Hospitalizing and Boarding

We offer quality boarding and hospitalization services for dogs and cats in the Bali area. You can trust that your pets are well cared for and kept safe by our team. We have clean cages and rooms, as well as a big space for dogs and cats to walk and run around. Vaccination

Vaccines are important both for cats and dogs. Routine vaccinations are the only way to prevent diseases. There are various vaccinations that your pets need. For example, Bali has a rabies problem in an epidemic level, so all dogs and cats definitely need a rabies vaccination.

There are major diseases attacking dogs and cats in Bali such as parvo virus, parainfluenza, distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, kennel cough and rabies. These diseases are very difficult to cure or, even worse, cannot be cured once your pets get it. Even though it may be able to be cured, the journey may take a very long time and comes with a high cost of treatment.

For these reasons, we suggest that pet owners try preventing diseases instead of treating pets once they have caught the disease. We recommend you to follow a proper vaccination schedule to avoid the risk of hazardous diseases to your pets.

Pre-Vaccination Test

We have various inhouse rapid tests for accurate diagnoses which can be used for pre-vaccination screening, including Toxoplasma, CPV, CD, FVP, FIP, coronavirus, rabies, Blood Paracite etc. Pre-vaccination tests are necessary in order to be cautious when there is a high risk of virus incubation.

Pet Dentistry

Pet teeth dentistry takes care of a dog and cat’s teeth scaling and dental care. Dogs and cats can not brush their teeth, and neither can they visit dentists. This makes teeth issues a common health problem both cats and dogs. Sometimes these issues, such as a pet’s rotten teeth, can even be very painful for pets.

This is why you have to take your pet regularly to the vet at least once a year to have their teeth checked. Usually vets will not give any medications for a pet’s teeth, but will only do cleaning like scaling or brushing.

Common signs of teeth problems on dogs include::

• Red or swollen gums (sometimes even bleeding)
• Bad Breath
• Excessive saliva production
• Putting paws on face, like scratching his own face
• Avoiding eating hard and dry foods
• Yellowish or brown teeth (usually it is tartar)

Even when your pets do not have problems with their teeth, you should regularly visit a vet to have them check your pets’ teeth.

Dental problems in pets can trigger other problems, just like in humans. Those are usually gastrointestinal problems, or even heart, liver, lung, and kidney problems.

Bali Veterinary Clinic can perform dental care. We can also help you to show how to take care of your dogs’ teeth by yourself to maintain its health, and we can suggest to you what kind of food and diet you should give your dog.

Dermatology

Bali is a part of Indonesia, a tropical country with a constant temperature ranging from 28° to 32°C and a humidity of 70-90%. Bali’s climate, compared to countries with 4 seasons, very much affects furry pets and it makes them susceptible to skin problems.

Bali Veterinary Clinic’s doctors have expertise and experience, along with complete facilities to tackle a wide range of skin problems for pets living in Bali. Dr. Made Restiati has for long had an interest in new approaches to tackling skin diseases in dogs in Bali, including “Immune Mediated Suppression” problem which is very common in Bali.

Her new approach received international honorable mention in an international seminar in Istanbul in 2006 for presenting a paper on “Tropical Country Skin Disease Treatment”. Recently, we have proudly announced a collaboration with Mt. Pleasant Vet Centre in immune therapy specializing on tropical conditions.

In-house Diagnostic and Imaging Labs

We have complete in-house laboratory equipments such as Blood Analyzer (CBC), Blood Chemistry Test, USG (Ultrasonography), Microscope, Gas Anaesthetic Machine, Intensive Care Unit Tools (Monitors, Oxygen depo room), ECG, complete dental scaler test, cauterizer.

We also have Rapid Viral and Bacterial Tests (Rabies, Distember, Parvo, Toxoplasma, FIP, etc), Culture Tissue for fungus, emergency tools like ECG (Electrocardiography). Our team of trained and experienced doctors and technicians are all well-equipped to use those equipments. In addition to that, our recent collaborion with Mt. Pleasant Veterinary Centre Singapore provided “Immuno Therapy” for atopic allergies or immune system supression skin problems.

Orthopedic

Our orthopedic surgeon has national and international certifications and standardizations in executing such surgeries.

For this reason, your pets do not need to be sent overseas to get medical surgery procedure; we can do it right here in Bali.

Puppy / Kitten Care

Taking care of puppies or kittens are not as easy as we think, but it’s always a joy to be able to take care of them.

Pups or kittens need to drink milk from their mother every hour. When the mother of the puppies and kittens are unable to milk them, this will obviously harm their lives.

Our trained attendants can help extend their survival by pampering them in the right way.

We will look at anything that has to do with vital organs, including: hormonal problems, hematology, gastroenterology, nutrition, nephrology, urology, immune-mediated diseases, and infectious diseases. Bali Veterinary Clinic’s team, through international courses and experiences, will work together to find the best solution for your pet’s internal health problems.

Minor and Major Surgery

Bali Veterinary Clinic is licensed and certified.

The license and certification means that our building facility has met the requirements of the government’s regulations, including building permit, environmental assessment and complete facilities for the establishment. The purpose it to ensure that treatments and surgery procedures are carried out with the correct and safest way possible to give the best for the animals.
